LG cools Netbook and and Laptop Strategy

LG is reported to be putting the brakes on its netbook and laptop strategy,  and concentrating on the smartphone market. The company has apparently cited the current economical situation as the reason. Since LG has up to now released only a single model, the X110, some might think that this is in fact not much of a change of strategy.

The company’s next netbook offering, the X120 is due for release during the coming months, although it could be a while until the one after that.

It is expected that LG will make a full return to the netbook scene in 2010.
