Netbook Remix – Ubuntu 9.04 Beta

For those of you who want a netbook optimised Linux for your netbook, you’ll be interested to know that the Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04 beta is now available at ubuntu.com.

The site states that the release is almost ready for general use, so exercise some caution before installing 9.04. Ubuntu.com reads like the final release, named Jaunty Jackalope, will come towards the end of this month, on April 23rd. A simple update from the current release, 8.10 is possible with a single command and some easy to follow on-screen instructions.
